Mark Duval and his Music - Light And Bright

Chappell LPC 1069

Chappell was a major international music publisher with a huge catalogue of recorded library music available on record from the 1940's onwards, eventually becoming part of Universal Publishing Production Music (UPPM) today.

Chappell has no apparent connection to the Astral or Miami labels, but this 1974 release from their extensive LPC series featuring a variety of English and French composers is notable for featuring both Roger Renaud and Rio Jeno on the B side with two trad jazz pieces. It is therefore confirmed that Roger Renaud did write music for illustration sonore/library use in the 1970's.
